Java言語はCobol言語と化すか？

新しい言語は好きですが，COBOLは案外嫌いじゃありません．
スパコンを散々使ってきたにも関わらず，FORTRANよりもCOBOLの方がまだ好きかもしれません．
（．．．今思えば，FORTRANでは無理でしたが，PC-9801版のCOBOLで，テキストマルチWindowシステムを作ることができました．）

結構，無茶な記事ですが，(1) 私が10年前からJavaは好きじゃなかった，(2) Rubyは最初から好きだった，(3) さらに新しい言語，例えばLuaなんかに注目が集まっている，ということで取り上げてみました．
