スウェーデン王立科学アカデミーは３日、今年のノーベル物理学賞を、米航空宇宙局（ＮＡＳＡ）ゴダード宇宙飛行センターのジョン・マザー上席研究員（６０）と米カリフォルニア大バークリー校のジョージ・スムート教授（６１）に贈ると発表した。

宇宙論からｷﾀ━━━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━━━ !!!!!

そろそろノーベル賞の時期ですね．
9月初めにトムソンが受賞可能性のある研究者を発表しております．

日本人だと東北大電気通信研究所の中沢正隆氏だそうです．

個人的には宇宙論の分野ですと Guth, Linde, Steinhardt よりも人工衛星 COBE で観測を行った G.Smoot の方が可能性があるように思いますが．
